Are you missing your families The Elf on the Shelf? I think my family may have found him ... at IHOP. My family and I decided to have a little breakfast for dinner on a Friday night to kick off the weekend after a really long week. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear ... The Elf on the Shelf Menu that had just rolled out at IHOP at the beginning of November. To say my kiddos were excited is putting it lightly.
We decided to try them all ... Dad tried the Holiday Ham and Sausage Omelette (a fluffy omelette with diced ham and sausage, peppers and onions, hash browns and Jack and Cheddar cheese; then topped with even more diced ham and sausage and cheese sauce) with the Jolly Cakes (fluffy green pancakes topped with a sweet cream cheese frosting, a dollop of whipped cream, and elf sprinkles); Mom (me😉) ordered the Oh What Funnel Cakes (crispy funnel cakes topped with powdered sugar, glazed strawberries, whipped cream, and elf sprinkles); and the girls both had a Little Elves Combo (one had a Jolly Cake and the other had a Oh What Funnel Cake along with 1 scrambled egg, 1 slice of bacon and 1 sausage link). And of course, we all enjoyed a hot mug of Merry Marshmallow Hot Chocolate (hot chocolate flavored with toasted marshmallow syrup and topped with whipped cream and elf sprinkles). Have you picked up on a theme yet ... elf sprinkles make everything festive and delicious!

It was all sooooo yummmmmy and definitely put us all in the holiday spirit! IHOP has truly out done themselves with this new menu and I encourage you and your family to go try it out for yourselves. My girls are already asking to go back and you can as often as you'd like through January 1, 2020.
