Gigi's Season All Really Is the Seasoning for All

My family and friends ask for this recipe all of the time ... I think you'll love it, too!

I love food!  I love to cook!  I love to cook great food that people will enjoy! For me, the seasoning is just as important as the other quality ingredients I try to always use when feeding my family and/or friends. And that is how Gigi's Season All or better known as the "what is on this ____ that makes is so good?" came about. It is a seasoning combo that I have been making for years and get asked for the recipe a lot. It all started as short-cut in the kitchen to avoid having a lot of spice bottles taking up room in the cupboard.

I am a cook who likes to experiment with flavors for different dishes, but I am also a cook that likes keep it simple when it comes to certain foods - especially when I'm grilling or roasting meats and vegetables. My simple, yet flavorful, go-to combination for those types of things has always been salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and with a lot of trial and error I came up with a tasty combination of the 3 that works every time on so many things. And before I knew it, Gigi's Season All was born. Although it is not mass-produced by any means, it is quite popular with several of my family members and friends.  It's also been known to fetch a pretty penny at my family reunion's auction ... but that's another whole article in itself.

Below are a couple of examples of the pics I start getting texted to me right before a family reunion.  😉

So, without further ado, may I introduce you to ...

Gigi's Season All

1 cup of course salt

1/4 cup of garlic powder

1/8 cup of ground, black pepper

Mix it all together and store in a air tight container for up to 6 months (but I think you'll find it will run out before then).  You can also double and triple this recipe if you find yourself using it a lot.  I just use a standard salt shaker (one with slightly larger holes) and keep it on my counter for easy access.

It really is that easy!
