One of my favorite Christmas traditions in my family is that we all buy little things to put in each others' stockings ... and that includes the kids (once they are old enough to pick things out). I have loved getting that stocking on Christmas morning jam-packed with little trinkets, gift cards, etc. - but let's be honest - it's always been about the holiday candy! I remember dumping it all out and going through it to see what new Christmas-themed confections awaited. So, when my husband and I first started fostering our daughters, I could hardly wait for Christmas to come so I could get them their very own stockings that everyone would stuff on Christmas Day.
It was just as I imagined, too. Their little faces lit up with pure excitement when we put the stockings in front of them and let them dump them out to see all of the treasures that they held. And as you may have guessed, they went straight for the sweet treats first. Can you blame them? I couldn't.
Now if your family is like ours, you have a Team Fruity and a Team Chocolate when it comes to candy. Lucky for everyone, Mondelēz International has all of your candy teams covered, including those who even tend to join Team Sour. And Christmas is no exception with TOBLERONE Naughty and Nice Chocolate; SOUR PATCH KIDS Coal Soft & Chewy Candy; and SWEDISH FISH Soft & Chewy Holiday Candy, Candy Cane Shaped Tubes. We also picked up TRIDENT Spearmint Gum and TRIDENT Cinnamon Gum, both in 3 packs.

When Macaroni KID National asked us to stuff some stockings with candy from Mondelēz International, I knew instantly I wanted to be a part of it and gift two lucky, local families candy-stuffed stockings, just like I enjoy getting every Christmas. I also knew it would be a great way to get the whole family involved in starting the giving season for this year.
The first thing I did was sit down with my family and figure out who the two lucky families would be that would receive the stockings. We then made a list of the candies we wanted to put in the stockings, followed by a trip to Target to purchase all of the goodies.
After our trip to Target, we got down to business and stuffed our stockings full to the brims (actually overflowing) with packs of TRIDENT Gum 3 Packs, SOUR PATCH KIDS Candy, and of course, TOBLERONE Chocolate Bars. We put a few extra holiday touches on them and headed out to Deliver and Delight our two chosen families. To say they were excited to get that big stocking all full of yummy Mondelēz International candy to be enjoyed over the holiday season, is an understatement. They were both ecstatic! As you can see by the photos below, we definitely brought a little early holiday joy to some kiddos and their families.
My girls learned how fun it is to bless others with happiness, especially during the holidays. They also learned good deeds lead to happiness in return. They were very surprised and happy to find out that they were getting their very own candy-filled stocking as well when we got home. Not bad for a good days work.
