One of my goals for our summer was to help teach my girls to be a little more self-sufficient in the kitchen. Mug cakes were the perfect place to start. They are easy to make and can be done with little to no supervision, depending on your kiddos' ages. And, I'm not going to lie, they come in handy after you've put the kids to bed and you want a little something sweet yourself. :)
