The Sandwich Fair - 2023
The Sandwich Fair, first started as an annual livestock show in DeKalb County. Held yearly, Wednesday–Sunday after Labor Day since 1888, it is one of the oldest continuing county fairs in the state of Illinois. Large crowds stroll throughout the beautiful tree lined grounds, all five days of the fair, which has something of interest for everyone.
Hours of the Fair:
8 am – 11 pm Wednesday through Friday; 8 am – 12 am Saturday; and 8 am – 7 pm Sunday
Tickets:
Tickets are available at the entrance gate after parking. Parking is included with admission. Adult $10, Child 6-12 $7, 5 and under is free. Please take advantage of the promotional days to get in at discounted rates during the fair.
Promotional Days:
Children Free Day - Wednesday, September 6 - Children 12 and under are free.
Senior Day -Thursday,September 7 - Fair goers 65 and over get in for $7 before 5pm.
Bargain Day - Friday, September 8 - Children 12 and under free until 5pm. Everyone 13 years and older admitted for $7 before 5pm.
Sunday, September 10 - After 3pm everyone admitted for $7.
