We're exactly one week out from Thanksgiving and I have to say I'm a little sad. You see my mom has a bone marrow disorder due to having cancer when I was a child ... she now has to take a low-dose chemo pill daily which makes her extremely immune-compromised. With my sister being a nurse, who is also on the COVID taskforce for her hospital, she has made the decision (which I agree 100% with) that we should not all get together at this time of very high positivity rates. So, for the first time in a long time, we will be staying home for Thanksgiving. We're grateful for good friends that have invited us to join them to keep a little normal happening for us all. One thing that hasn't changed and is for sure is that Macaroni Kid Yorkville - Geneva - St Charles is here with articles, recipes, crafts, and more to help you get through it all.
